I obtained my BSc in Biology and MSc in Molecular Biology and Genetics at the University of Siena and University of Pavia, respectively. Successively, I joined the PlantLab as Ph.D student where I’m currently enrolled as Post-doctoral researcher.

During my Ph.D I developed an interest in structural biology and its deployment for synthetic biology in green organisms. My Post-doctoral project focuses on the design of synthetic genetic circuits to hijack hormonal and environment signalling pathways in plant cells.
